Massive congratulations to Allan Fitzgibbon who makes his NRL debut tonight for the Gold Coast Titans against the Dragons in Wollongong!
Allan's journey is nothing short of inspiring — a proud Indigenous athlete who once lit up the field as a standout Australian Indigenous Oztag representative, even leading the war cry at the 2018 World Cup (pictured below). That same passion, pride, and power now takes centre stage in the NRL as he becomes Titan #197.
Born in Coffs Harbour, the 26-year-old has earned his shot after several standout seasons with the North Sydney Bears — including an incredible 21 tries in 21 games last year — proving he’s more than ready for the big stage. After years of hard work in the NSW Cup since 2019, Allan finally gets his well-deserved call-up, replacing Jojo Fifita tonight.
From repping his culture in Oztag to now making waves in the NRL — this debut is more than just a game. It’s a celebration of hard work, heritage, and heart. 💛❤️🖤
Go well, Fitz — the whole mob is behind you!
