2024 PLAYER PROFILES

18 July 2024

Our first player profile up is Womens Opens player Shelby Grainger! ✨

This deadly Wiradjuri woman is no stranger to AIO,and has represented the mob at the 2021 AIO Battle of the Nations Tournament, 2022 International Tag Series, and was selected for the 2023 World Cup! 🎉

When not carving it up at International tournaments Shelby’s dominating with Port Macquarie at local, state and National tournaments! 🥇

When asked why she applied to play with AIO Shelby said “it’s incredibly meaningful for me to showcase my culture, my family and my mob while also embracing the rich cultural journey that the club and competition offer.”🏉Making what we know is going to be a deadly joint comeback with her sister returning from knee reconstructions in 2023, Shelby is excited to be back playing for AIO, and be back with the mob and surrounded by culture!

Deadly Shelby. BEST OF LUCK.
